Carl-Henry Cadet is a Haitian writer, economist and cultural curator based in Berlin. Raised across Haiti and the United States, with experiences spanning Europe, China and the Middle East, he brings a distinctly transnational lens to questions of development, memory and justice.
He holds an MSc in International Economics and Management and a BSc in Economics and Finance. His work moves between empirical research and poetic inquiry, bringing each into conversation with the other.
He is co-founder of Choublak Kolektiv, the Afro-descendent Book Club and Edikasyon se Richès. His current projects explore Haiti’s place in global justice, ecological approaches to belonging, and the institutions diasporas can build.
